Japan's Only Certified Santa Claus to Visit Four Afternoon Tea Living Stores for Early Christmas Events

Lifestyle brand Afternoon Tea Living will host special Christmas events at four select stores this winter, welcoming Japan's only certified Santa Claus ahead of the holiday season. The events offer families a unique opportunity to meet Paradise Yamamoto, an official Santa recognized by the Greenland International Santa Claus Association, and participate in popular apple wreath-making workshops.

Schedule and Locations

The Christmas events will take place at four Afternoon Tea Living locations across Japan:

  • November 1 (Sat): Afternoon Tea Living, Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu (Tokyo)
  • November 8 (Sat): Afternoon Tea Living, Daimaru Sapporo (Hokkaido)
  • November 15 (Sat): Afternoon Tea Home & Living, Kuzuha Mall (Osaka)
  • December 13 (Sat): Afternoon Tea Living, Terrace Mall Shonan (Kanagawa)

How to Participate

Advance reservations will be accepted starting October 15 (Wed) at 12:00 PM.

Event Details:

  • Admission: Free
  • Capacity: 32 groups per store (first-come, first-served)
  • Special gift: Commemorative changing card (one per group)

Registration will close once capacity is reached at each location.

Meet Japan's Certified Santa Claus

Paradise Yamamoto became Asia's first certified Santa Claus in 1998 when he was selected by the Greenland International Santa Claus Association, headquartered in Denmark. Now in his 28th year as an official Santa, he regularly visits welfare facilities and pediatric hospitals while working to establish proper Christmas traditions in Japan.

Beyond his Santa duties, Yamamoto is also known as a mambo musician, manbo bonsai master, and gyoza chef, bringing a unique personality to his role as Japan's only internationally recognized Santa Claus.
