The TV anime Detective Conan, which began broadcasting on January 8, 1996, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026. To commemorate this milestone, the "30th Broadcast Anniversary TV Anime Detective Conan Exhibition" will open at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall starting February 20, 2026.
The TV&MOVIE 30YEAR PROJECT has launched to express gratitude to all fans who have supported Detective Conan over the years. The exhibition is one of the key initiatives of this project.

Following the Tokyo opening, the exhibition will tour major cities across Japan. An original key visual featuring Edogawa Conan and 30 characters has been released to coincide with the announcement.

Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition features special exhibits designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the TV anime Detective Conan. Visitors can explore areas #1 through #5 to learn about the behind-the-scenes production process of the TV anime.
Experience how illustrations are colored, characters are animated, and voices are added to complete the TV anime Detective Conan. The exhibition also includes memorable scenes from the TV anime and a special exhibition movie.

Entrance
Edogawa Conan and 30 characters welcome visitors at the entrance to commemorate the 30th anniversary.

Introduction
The iconic opening line "Looks like a child, mind of an adult, his name is Detective Conan!!" from 30 years of TV anime openings is showcased together.

Behind the Scenes: TV Anime Detective Conan Production Process
#1 Planning
Everything starts with planning when producing anime. This section displays character designs and art setting materials. Learn about the key points author Aoyama considers when creating characters and the director's recommended tricks. Scale models of the Mori Detective Agency and other locations created from actual art materials are also on display.

#2 Storyboards
Storyboards are essential for constructing anime storylines. This section displays actual storyboards used in the TV anime Detective Conan across the walls. Experience the vast number of storyboards created over 30 years in this exhibition space.
#3 Animation
Animation is the process that contains the most important elements of anime production: "color and movement." This section displays Conan's movements frame by frame. Experience the moment when black and white line drawings come to life with color and movement.
#4 Voice Recording
Voice recording brings animated characters to life. This section features a corner where visitors can compare Edogawa Conan's different emotions of "joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness," along with congratulatory comments from voice actors.
#5 Theme Songs
Theme songs are essential to TV anime. This section spotlights the theme songs of TV anime Detective Conan, displaying CD jackets and a chronological timeline.

#SP Memorial Scenes
This section showcases memorable scenes and character highlights from the series, arranged chronologically from the broadcast start in 1996.

#SP Thanks Theater
A special exhibition movie is presented to express gratitude to all supporters of TV anime Detective Conan. Enjoy this original story exclusive to the exhibition.

NEXT CONAN'S HINT
This section introduces the NEXT CONAN'S HINT segments that appear after each TV anime episode, providing clues for the next case. Learn about the behind-the-scenes production of the special exhibition movie and review how TV anime is made.
