Tokyo Christmas Market 2026 in Shin-Toyosu will sell traditional German wooden goods, Christmas ornaments, and Steiff teddy bears. The market is organized by the Tokyo Christmas Market Executive Committee, with APAMAN cooperating in hosting and promotion.
The Shin-Toyosu venue opens on Friday, November 20, 2026 and runs through Friday, December 25.
Wooden Christmas Decorations from Seiffen, Germany
Seiffen, a village in the Erzgebirge region of Germany, is known as a production center for traditional woodcrafts. Its link with Tokyo Christmas Market began when the event's founder visited a local workshop and ordered the Christmas pyramid that serves as the symbol of the venue.
This year again, woodcrafts sourced from Seiffen will be sold at "Seiffen" at the Shin-Toyosu venue. The lineup includes wooden nutcrackers in colorful costumes and miniature huts exclusive to Tokyo Christmas Market. The miniature huts come in 6 designs, with motifs such as pretzels and Christmas trees. When switched on, a light glows inside, adding a warm Christmas atmosphere.
Gnome Dolls and Tree Ornaments
At "schmücken," a German word meaning "to decorate," gnome dolls and ornaments well suited to Christmas interiors are on offer.
The lineup includes gnome dolls with checked hats and white beards, as well as gnome wine caps that fit over wine bottles.
Ornaments with gnome and snowman motifs are also sold. Combining fur, knit fabric, and wooden parts, their warm designs can be used to decorate a Christmas tree or a room.
Steiff "Little Santa 2026" and an Original Tokyo Christmas Market Bear
From the German stuffed-toy brand Steiff comes the Japan-exclusive "Little Santa 2026 'Joy'."
This year's Little Santa takes "joy" as its theme. It wears a white jacket with a "joy" brooch on the pocket. It can be seen at "Seiffen" at the Shin-Toyosu venue.
An original Tokyo Christmas Market teddy bear named "Ben" will also be available. The 21 cm teddy bear wears a shirt with a red-and-green Christmas pattern and the market's name. The keyring type comes in 2 colors, red and blue, and the shirt is designed with the Christmas pyramid that symbolizes the venue.
