Watabe Wedding (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; President and CEO: Hitoshi Kawashima) is renewing ALLAMANDA CHAPEL, located within Shigira Seven Miles Resort, in January 2027. The resort is operated by Nansei Rakuen Resort Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture; Chairman: Yoji Takahashi).
Shigira Seven Miles Resort spreads across roughly 1.4 million tsubo (about 4.6 million square meters) on Miyako Island, some 300 kilometers southwest of Okinawa's main island. Surrounded by a natural environment where beautiful coral-reef seas stretch to the horizon, the resort's grounds include luxury private villas, a resort hotel, hot springs, and a golf course.
The biggest draw of ALLAMANDA CHAPEL, located within Shigira Seven Miles Resort, is its stunning setting, where ceremonies take place beneath open skies and amid lush greenery. The resort has cultivated plants across its grounds for many years, and more than 250 varieties now grow throughout the property. Walking together with a loved one along Okinawa's only wedding path surrounded entirely by nature, on the way to the chapel, creates an irreplaceable experience. From its hilltop position, the chapel also commands sweeping views of Miyako Island's sea, allowing a ceremony that becomes one with nature.
This renewal is built around the concept "Quietly, Filling Up," valuing "how to spend the day" over "where to go," and proposes seven scenes that let the heart fill gently over the course of the day. The wedding day begins with a first meeting between the couple, followed by time spent walking the nature-lined wedding path, a ceremony wrapped in water and light, an after-ceremony gathering in nature where blessings are shared, a moment on Miyako Island's beautiful beach, a reception featuring the hospitality unique to Shigira Seven Miles Resort, and finally a photo tour that records the day together with the island's scenery. Time spent together with Miyako Island's nature becomes, in itself, a special day that quietly fills the hearts of the couple and their families.

2. New Reception Menus
Four new reception course menus, created with guests' enjoyment in mind.
Using ingredients from Miyako Island and drawing inspiration from the island's scenery, from its starry skies to its sunsets, these dishes let guests savor Miyako Island through all five senses, delivering a memorable dining experience.
"Soyogi — A Gift from a Gentle Island"
Beginning with the beautiful sea known as Miyako Blue, this course moves through island vegetables, purple sweet potato, grouper (miibai), Okinawan black-haired wagyu beef, sanpin tea, and shikuwasa, expressing Miyako Island's rich nature and seasonal blessings through delicate French culinary technique — a course that lets guests feel the island's scenery in every dish.

"Minamo — Colors Where the Blessings of Sea and Land Overlap"
A celebratory course that vividly expresses the rich blessings of Miyako Island's sea and land through delicate French technique. It begins with an amuse-bouche showcasing the flavors of the sea, layers in the appeal of local ingredients such as Miyako beef and Okinawan black-haired wagyu, and lets a rich lobster bisque and champagne sauce color a special moment. The course closes with a refreshing, tropical finish of passion fruit and hibiscus — a gourmet course befitting Miyako Island.

"Awai — A Celebration to Savor the Passing Hours"
A full course built around the rich ingredients nurtured by Miyako Island's sea and land, blending French culinary tradition with refined technique. It begins with distinctly Okinawan ingredients such as island tofu and Ryukyu seafood, then layers in lobster, foie gras, truffle, and Okinawan black-haired wagyu beef — ingredients befitting a celebration. The course closes with a dessert inspired by Miyako Island's star-filled night sky. A blissful course bringing together the island's nature and world-class gastronomy, fitting for a special day.

"Yoin — A Flavor That Quietly Fills the Heart"
Miyako Island's deep blue sea, its land brimming with vitality, and the gentle "paikaji" south wind that blows across it — this gastronomy course carefully depicts the natural blessings that shape the island in every dish. The richness of the sea comes through in shrimp and fresh fish, the strength of the land through Agu pork, Yanbaru chicken, and island vegetables, building to a vibrant dish featuring Miyako beef, foie gras, and black truffle. The course closes with the delicate sweetness of Tarama brown sugar and Yukishio sea salt, expressing the lingering charm of an island wrapped in coral reefs. A course unique to Okinawa's beautiful islands, where the region's nature, culture, and French culinary technique come into harmony.
