Ikuno Kinzoku Co., Ltd. (Osaka Prefecture; President: Yasuharu Konishi) is rebranding its palm-sized original tin can line, previously known as "Caran Coron," under the new brand name "coron." To mark the occasion, the brand is launching a second creator collaboration series at Art Osaka 2026.
Brand Relaunch: From "Caran Coron" to "coron"
Since its launch in 2021, the tin can brand has built a following through the company's metalworking expertise and creator collaborations. The new name "coron" is designed to be simpler, more memorable, and better suited for global markets, while still evoking the can's rounded shape and the playful "karan koron" sound of cans clinking together.
With this rebrand, "coron" positions itself as a brand that "creates big possibilities from a small can."
