The historic town of Akizuki in Asakura City welcomes spring with the "Akizuki Hina Meguri" event, running from February 14 (Saturday) to March 8 (Sunday).
Known as the "Little Kyoto of Chikuzen," Akizuki celebrates the Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival) with hina dolls displayed throughout various locations in the town.
At the Nagayamon Gate within the Akizuki Castle ruins, approximately 600 hina dolls are displayed on outdoor stone steps.
During the event period, visitors can enjoy a quiz rally centered around Akizuki-related questions, as well as participate in workshops.

- Period: February 14 (Saturday) to March 8 (Sunday)
- Outdoor Hina Display at Nagayamon Gate: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays during the event period, and March 3, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
In case of rain cancellation of the outdoor Nagayamon hina display, a special exhibition will be held at the former Tonami House instead.
Hina doll arrangement experience is also available from 9:30 AM, so please join us.
