34th Chikugo Yoshii Ohinasama Meguri Festival Comes to Ukiha City

The doll season returns to the atmospheric white-walled streets of Yoshii Town in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture, which flourished as a post town during the Edo and Meiji periods.

This year's Chikugo Yoshii Ohinasama Meguri will be held from February 11, 2026 (Wednesday, National Holiday) to March 20, 2026 (Friday, National Holiday) under the theme of "Hanamizuba and Okiage." The historic white-walled streets will welcome visitors with vibrant flower water basins and "Okiage" hina dolls, which were beloved by common people in the post town.

During the event period, kimono rental and dressing services will be available on Sundays and national holidays only. Kimonos are available for women, men, and young girls. Those who dress in kimono will receive a special 500-yen voucher exclusive to the Ohinasama Meguri event. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the white-walled streets in beautiful kimono attire, with opportunities for dining and rickshaw rides.

Precious hina dolls passed down through generations and various special events will be waiting for visitors for over a month.
