ASAKUSA HANAYASHIKI Extends Hours for "Ukiuki Silver Week 2026" From September 19

ASAKUSA HANAYASHIKI, Japan's oldest amusement park, operated by Hanayashiki Co., Ltd. (Taito Ward, Tokyo; President Toyoshi Nishikawa (西川豊史)), is holding "Ukiuki Silver Week 2026" for five days from Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday, September 23 (public holiday), 2026. During the event, the park extends its regular hours to as late as 9:00 PM and rolls out a lineup of hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy all day, including a tile-breaking challenge, a human crane game, and character shows.

The park's usual 6:00 PM closing time is extended to 9:00 PM (except on September 20), giving visitors a special chance to enjoy Japan's oldest amusement park from morning through night.

A range of participatory content adds to the excitement of the holiday. The "Kawara-wari (Tile-Breaking) Challenge" lets visitors try their hand at breaking roof tiles, starting from a course of just three tiles — a fun option for a child's very first tile-breaking experience. The "Ukiuki Human Crane Game" also makes an appearance, with a child playing the "crane" while an adult operates the controls, aiming together as a family or with friends to win a prize — a cooperative attraction filled with smiles.

The "Silver Week Character Show," featuring a different popular character each day, also takes the stage, adding special moments to everyone's Silver Week memories.

Alongside the events, original collaboration goods featuring artwork by illustrator Uki Hayashi go on sale, with a lineup of items that work well both as a memento of the park and for everyday use. An SNS campaign runs at the same time to add to the excitement.

This Silver Week, come enjoy a special, heart-lifting day at ASAKUSA HANAYASHIKI, Japan's oldest amusement park.
