ASAKUSA YOKOCHO Launches Kids' Menus and Family Reward Perks

ASAKUSA YOKOCHO, the festival-themed dining complex that opened in 2022 in Asakusa, is introducing new services aimed at families with young children. The venue, which brings together seven restaurants and a kimono rental shop under one lively roof, has added kids' menus and a receipt-based perks program to make visits more enjoyable for guests traveling with kids.

Kids' Menus Now Available at All Restaurants

Dedicated kids' menus are now on offer at all seven restaurants, with each set including a soft drink. The menus are available to children aged 12 and under:

  • Kaminari Monjya – Takoyaki & Potato Set: ¥500
  • Asakusa Izumo – Exciting Eel & Karaage Set: ¥999
  • Konamimire – Mini Corn Buta-dama Set: ¥500
  • Yurayura – Yurayura Mini Ramen Set: ¥500
  • Shinton – Mini Soboro Don Set: ¥500
  • Asakusa Sushi – Sushi Restaurant Kids Plate: ¥999
  • Rocky Kanai – Fried Brothers Set: ¥769

All prices are tax-inclusive.

Receipt Perks for Kids

A new perks program has also launched, rewarding children based on total same-day spending across the venue:

  • ¥3,500 or more (tax-inclusive): One child receives either a free ice cream or a gacha coin.
  • ¥7,000 or more (tax-inclusive): Two children are eligible for the perk.

Perks are redeemable with same-day receipts only.

Crane Games and More

Two crane game machines have been installed inside the venue, providing extra entertainment while waiting for a table or during a kimono fitting. ASAKUSA YOKOCHO aims to keep expanding its seasonal events and programs to create memorable experiences for the whole family.

The venue features a Showa retro atmosphere with neon lights and brings together restaurants specializing in eel, monjayaki, yakitori, sushi, yakiton, and izakaya-style dining, alongside a kimono rental shop. Festival stalls and weekend events add to a lively atmosphere inspired by traditional Japanese matsuri culture. A terrace area is available for relaxing or enjoying yakitori, and in summer the venue offers a foot water terrace for cooling off. The Sumida River fireworks can also be enjoyed from the venue.
