Hotel Gracery Asakusa Refreshes Breakfast Buffet from June 1 with Teppan Yakisoba Live Kitchen

Hotel Gracery Asakusa, located just a 3-minute walk from Kaminarimon in Taito-ku, Tokyo, is refreshing its breakfast buffet at the 1F restaurant "Bonsalute" (ボンサルーテ) starting June 1, 2026 (Monday). The renewal introduces live kitchen cooking and a lineup of shitamachi-inspired dishes designed to make breakfast a memorable part of any Asakusa stay.

A Breakfast That Captures the Spirit of Asakusa

The hotel regularly welcomes guests visiting Asakusa for its traditional streetscapes and culture. Reflecting the strong interest in local food experiences during stays, the buffet renewal focuses on bringing freshly prepared dishes and a distinctly shitamachi character to the morning meal.

The centerpiece of the refresh is a live kitchen station where a chef finishes dishes right in front of guests. The standout new item is teppan yakisoba (iron plate stir-fried noodles) — made to order on the griddle, fragrant with savory sauce and ready to eat straight away. Guests can top it with aonori (dried green seaweed), beni shoga (pickled red ginger), mayonnaise, and other classic street-stall condiments for a "matsuri (festival) atmosphere" at breakfast. Future live kitchen offerings will continue to rotate, with new shitamachi-flavored dishes planned on an ongoing basis.

Around 40 Items Including 14 New Additions

The renewal adds 14 new menu items to the lineup — some offered daily and others on a rotating basis. New additions include:

  • French toast (rotating)
  • Roast pork
  • Ginger pork (rotating)
  • Mini hamburger
  • Salt-grilled mackerel
  • Strawberry panna cotta (rotating)
  • Teppan yakisoba (live kitchen)

The total menu will expand to approximately 40 items. Returning crowd favorites include shitamachi beef nabe (beef hot pot) and a beef tendon curry inspired by the flavors of Hoppy-dori (also known as Nikomi-dori), a well-known alley in Asakusa.
