A concept movie has been released for ASUKA III Original Performing Arts "MYSTERIO," an immersive show running at the Lumiere Theatre aboard the cruise ship Asuka III. Produced by HITOHATA, INC., the production has been in a long run since July 24, 2025.

"MYSTERIO" is an original work themed around the mysterious and romantic ancient Mexican civilization. It weaves a mysterious narrative through dance and visuals inspired by the sun, jungles, vibrantly colored animals, and prayers to the gods.
The ASUKA III Original Performing Arts program is an entertainment offering for the Lumiere Theatre aboard Asuka III, combining state-of-the-art digital technology — including holographic screens and LED screens — with immersive digital art visuals and dance performances to create a new kind of immersive performing arts experience.

Asuka III launched on July 20, 2025, as a new ship operated by Yusen Cruise Co., Ltd. Home-ported in Yokohama, it has a gross tonnage of 52,265 GT, making it the largest Japanese-flagged passenger vessel. The ship measures 230 meters in length and 29.8 meters in width, with 381 cabins and an expected passenger capacity of 740.
Asuka III continues the hospitality and premium service traditions of Asuka Cruises while pursuing services that offer greater freedom for the next generation.
