Audemars Piguet announced a new watch on February 3, 2026, at the "AP Social Club" held in Andermatt, Switzerland. This year's new releases include additions to the "Royal Oak," "Royal Oak Offshore," and "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" collections, as well as the "Neo Frame Jumping Hour," which combines modern craftsmanship with vintage charm.
The new "Neo Frame Jumping Hour" features the manufacture's first automatic jumping hour movement, Calibre 7122, housed in a rectangular case with vertical godron decoration inspired by Streamline Moderne design. With a completely new structure that blends skilled craftsmanship and vintage appeal, this model is characterized by pink gold and sapphire cases, along with straps featuring a new motif. It embodies the spirit of innovation and creativity that Audemars Piguet has inherited since its founding.

Streamline Moderne: Curves and Straight Lines
Pre-model 1271, combining elegant straight lines and curves, was inspired by the Streamline Moderne style born in the late Art Deco period. Also called "Paquebot" (meaning ocean liner), this style was inspired by the streamlined forms of trains and ships and emerged in America between the two World Wars as a symbol of speed and modernity pursuing minimalism. As a result, it was characterized by clean lines, curves, rounded corners, and the use of materials reminiscent of navigation.
The "Paquebot" style inherited the harmony of Art Deco's modernity and craftsmanship while also being influenced by "Bauhaus" elements such as technological sensibility and refined minimalism that emphasized the value of materials. All these characteristics are reflected in the Neo Frame Jumping Hour.

Elegant Two-Tone Design
This model's case size is 34.6mm x 34mm (excluding lugs), inheriting the design codes of the 1929 pre-model 1271 while paying contemporary homage to the Streamline Moderne style. The 18K pink gold rectangular case features vertical godron decoration on both sides, creating a graceful flow as it connects to the tapered lugs. The dignified decoration by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is adopted for the case back, crown, and rotor (all in 18K pink gold). Extremely high precision was required to accurately align the case back and lug lines.
It features a contemporary two-tone design of sapphire crystal with black PVD treatment, with two gold frame apertures (display windows) for hours and minutes showing white numbers on a black background. Additionally, the pink gold "Audemars Piguet" logo is positioned at 6 o'clock.
The seemingly simple sapphire dial requires extensive processing and special assembly processes. While the original pre-model 1271 used metal dials (gold color or platinum), this model uses sapphire crystal to meet modern waterproofing standards. Waterproofing is normally achieved by pressing the crystal into the bezel, but this Neo Frame Jumping Hour has no metal frame at 12 and 6 o'clock positions, with the sapphire crystal edge directly exposed. Therefore, to achieve 2 ATM water resistance, a proprietary technology newly developed for this model was adopted, bonding the dial plate to the sapphire crystal before screwing it to the case.
To adapt the historical design to modern usage environments, many improvements were also made from an ergonomic perspective. The newly designed crown achieves a more refined appearance while improving operability during winding.
The elegant black leather strap features a textile-like motif developed by Audemars Piguet's design team. To enhance integration with the case, it is designed to smoothly join with the sapphire between the lugs, emphasizing a vintage feel.
