2026 Suigo Sawara Ayame Festival
Around 1.5 million hanashobu (Japanese irises) in approximately 400 varieties bloom across the park, blanketing the grounds in sweeping shades of purple. Among the many iris gardens in Japan, Suigo Sawara Ayame Park stands out for offering rides on small wooden boats called "sappa-bune," allowing visitors to glide through the flower-lined waterways. The combination of a gentle breeze off the water and the vibrant blooms makes for a truly memorable experience.
