Bensaiten, the fruit daifuku shop that has served visitors from overseas and nearby office workers in Nihonbashi from its "Coredo Muromachi" location, relocates and reopens as "Coredo Muromachi Terrace" store on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
To mark the relocation, the store introduces a store-exclusive product, the "Nihonbashi Strawberry Daifuku Three Transformations."
In addition, for 10 days from the opening, the first 100 customers each day will receive a free "Shizuoka Crown Melon Daifuku" as part of an opening campaign.
Origin, Evolution, Challenge: A Store-Exclusive Strawberry Daifuku Trio That Traces Bensaiten's Past and Future

As a product exclusive to the Coredo Muromachi Terrace store, Bensaiten offers the "Nihonbashi Strawberry Daifuku Three Transformations," a set of three types of strawberry daifuku that symbolize the brand's past and future.
The white "Strawberry Daifuku," treasured since the company's founding, represents Bensaiten's origin. The "Indigo-Dyed Strawberry Daifuku" carries the tradition forward into a new form of expression, representing evolution. And the "Strawberry Warabimochi Daifuku," which incorporates the warabimochi newly launched this year, represents a new challenge symbolizing where Bensaiten is headed.
Origin, evolution, and challenge — Bensaiten's journey expressed through three flavors.
While honoring what the brand has built up over the years, it continues to pursue new possibilities in wagashi. This box brings together Bensaiten's past and future in a single package.

Opening Giveaway for 10 Days Only: Shizuoka Crown Melon Daifuku for the First 100 Customers Each Day

Relocated for Easier Browsing: A New "Omiyage Spot" in Nihonbashi

The new Coredo Muromachi Terrace store is an indoor shop connected directly to the subway station, making it easy to reach regardless of the weather.
The storefront is also wider than the previous location, with a more approachable design that creates a space where customers can browse at ease.
The lineup includes fruit daifuku made with seasonal fruit, alongside options suited to a range of occasions, from business gifts to presents for someone special.
Bensaiten aims to be a shop that Nihonbashi office workers can stop by regularly, and one that visitors shopping or sightseeing in the area will want to visit whenever they come to Nihonbashi.
