CAMPERLAB has unveiled its 2026SS campaign, capturing this season's collection through an intuitive, unfinished, and glitch-esque hand-drawn lens.
The campaign's story explores the tension between "appearance" and "reality." Set against a desolate urban backdrop where CAMPERLAB neon signs and the remnants of lost dreams quietly linger, three protagonists dressed in the 2026SS trompe-l'oeil denim suits and "Tornado" sneakers are depicted trying to maintain their professional identities amid the rhythms of ordinary daily life.

Reflecting the ambiguity created by the distorted grid of the check-print denim suits, the campaign unfolds through a mixed-media approach. Digital direction was handled by Mau Morgo and Cesar Rodrez of Olympic.tv — familiar names in CAMPERLAB's creative world — who integrated hand-drawn characters by Noha Manfredi into a digital space. Illustrations and backgrounds dissolve into one another, deliberately blurring the boundaries between them.
The character in the beige CAMPERLAB denim suit carries an almost protagonist-like aura — a person who seems to have a way with cats. Never seeking attention, yet somehow always the center of it. Slightly aloof and sometimes misread as rude, this character is beloved by both animals and people alike, though completely unaware of that fact. In public, they frequently pretend to be scrolling their phone to avoid unnecessary interaction.

The character in the burgundy CAMPERLAB denim suit is a burned-out overachiever. Repeatedly interrupted in meetings, frustration mounting, they slip away for a secret cigarette break without anyone noticing. They are worn down by the reality of having to sacrifice more than anyone else just to be taken seriously. Numbing reason with heavy drinking, they constantly question whether their efforts are even worth it.

The character in the grey CAMPERLAB denim suit tends to be condescending and over-explain everything. A self-styled princess with an arcade game addiction. Irritable about everything, yet firmly convinced they are a fundamentally good and grounded person. Known for causing a scene wherever they go, this character tries to please those around them but ultimately drives people away with intense aggression — an aggression so extreme it has been known to break claw machines.
