A themed pop-up café, "CANDY CARIES CAFE," is set to open in Shinjuku, Tokyo, celebrating the broadcast of the new original TV anime Candy Caries. The café will run from May 28 (Thursday) to July 5 (Sunday), 2026, at BOX cafe&space, LUMINE EST Shinjuku Store 1, located on the 8th floor of LUMINE EST Shinjuku (3-38-1 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).
About the Anime Candy Caries
Candy Caries is a stop-motion anime created by director Tomoki Misato and TORUKU from WIT STUDIO, which has attracted significant attention both in Japan and overseas. The theme song "Telepathy" is performed by girls group IS:SUE.
The series began broadcasting on April 15, 2026 at 11:56 PM on TBS's "Yoru no Branch," and all episodes are available for free on YouTube. The story centers on Ame, a child who loves sweets, and Caries, a tooth cavity living inside Ame's mouth who calls her "Mama" — a quirky and charming slice-of-life comedy set in a colorful, candy-filled world.

The official café website opens on May 13 (Wed) at 12:00 PM, with reservations available from 6:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservation fee is ¥715 (tax included) per person, which includes a reservation bonus. Up to 4 seats can be booked per reservation.
