Moon Boot, the footwear brand from Italy, will hold pop-ups in several places this winter. The pop-up at Daimaru Sapporo runs from Wednesday, October 21 to Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and the one at Isetan Shinjuku is scheduled from Wednesday, December 16 to Thursday, December 31, 2026.
In addition, SNOW BUNKER TOKYO, a select shop that offers a luxury resort style centered on skiing and golf, will run a Moon Boot pop-up from mid-November 2026 to late February 2027.
The pop-ups present a new winter style to enjoy as fashion, from snow resorts to winter city streets.
Moon Boot, Born From the Idea of Boots for Walking on the Moon
The story of Moon Boot began in Italy in 1969, inspired by the Apollo 11 moon landing. The excitement of the space age and a longing for the future were turned into a bold, original shape. Its voluminous form, unlike that of ordinary boots, and its unique construction with no distinction between left and right made a big impact on the fashion scene of the time. Moon Boot did not simply pursue function. It turned a longing for the future and free thinking into design, and eventually became an icon of winter fashion.
More than half a century after its birth, the distinctive design has not faded, and it continues to be loved by people around the world, from snow resorts to cities.

From Function to Fashion: A Boot That Changed Winter Style
Although they are winter boots meant to protect the feet from snow and cold, their strong presence makes them a fashion item that can be enjoyed as part of a winter outfit in its own right. Another big feature is how light they feel to wear, which is hard to imagine from their voluminous look.
They pair well not only with ski wear and down jackets but also with everyday town fashion. Simply adding Moon Boot at the feet brings a playful, iconic presence to an outfit.
Their appeal lies in the freedom to enjoy them in any setting, from active days at a snow resort to stays at a resort hotel and winter strolls through the city.
From European Winters to the World's Luxury Resorts
Moon Boot is highly recognized mainly in Europe and has long been a familiar symbol of winter resort culture.
At snow resorts in Europe, including the Alps, the boots are worn not only on the slopes but also around hotels and restaurants and while walking through town.
Celebrities and fashion icons have also been seen wearing Moon Boot when staying at or traveling to winter resorts, and the boots have grown from "boots for skiing" into "a style for spending time at a resort."

A Winter With Moon Boot, From the Slopes to the City
SNOW BUNKER, which carries Moon Boot, is a luxury select shop centered on skiing and golf. Its name combines "snow" with the "bunker" of a golf course.
The shop gathers carefully selected brands from around the world and offers a style for adults who spend time on the snowy mountains and at resorts, through wear and items that combine functionality and design.
It treats ski wear not as mere sportswear but as fashion, enriching the time spent in the snowy mountains.
With Moon Boot at the feet, SNOW BUNKER proposes a new winter style that connects snow resorts and the city seamlessly.
