Freedom Gundam and Justice Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED are getting a special makeover as traditional Shirakawa daruma dolls. The collaboration, produced under the "STRICT-G JAPAN" label, teams up the Gundam universe with the Shirakawa daruma — a Fukushima craft with approximately 300 years of history that has been officially recognized as a traditional craft of Fukushima Prefecture.
Pre-orders open on May 22, 2026 (Friday) at 1:00 PM via Bandai Namco's official online store Premium Bandai, ahead of general in-store sales at STRICT-G locations from August 1, 2026 (Saturday).

The Shirakawa daruma has been cherished since the late Edo period as a good-luck charm and continues to be widely loved as a symbol that brings wishes to life. Each piece is handcrafted by artisans and comes in two sizes: a standard 15cm height and a slightly smaller 8.5cm.
