"Christmas Gate Park in Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City" returns this winter, running from November 13 (Fri) to December 25 (Fri), 2026 at Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City (2-6-50 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City). Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City serves as a venue for the winter tradition "Christmas Advent," and this year marks its fourth time hosting.

Hot Drinks and Food in the Huts
Huts (small cabins) set up in the venue sell classic hot drinks such as hot wine and hot chocolate, perfect for the cold winter. The food lineup includes standards such as swirl sausage and chicken, along with new menu items such as Hawaiian garlic shrimp and menchi-katsu (fried minced meat cutlet). Visitors can enjoy a heartwarming time in a space wrapped in sparkling illuminations.

The carriage illumination is a signature of the Daimyo venue. Visitors can actually ride in it, and it is a popular photo spot loved by both adults and children.

Venue-Exclusive, This-Year-Only Mug Design
The Daimyo venue's Christmas Advent year mug is a new version of the monument "Daimyo no Ō-Komainu" (大名の大狛犬), created by doll artist 中村弘峰 around the concept of a guardian deity living in the Daimyo forest. This time, the great komainu wears a new look, carrying a snowman. This original Daimyo-exclusive design goes on sale in limited quantities.

Lighting Ceremony
A lighting ceremony takes place on opening day, November 13 (Fri), at 6:00 PM at the Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City venue. Enjoy the start of a special night together with the dazzling illuminations.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka
The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka also holds a lighting ceremony for its Christmas tree, standing about 4 meters tall in the 18th-floor lobby, on November 13 (Fri). The glamorous ceremony features a singing performance by guest 葉咲うらら, a Fukuoka native and former member of the Takarazuka Revue. Visitors can enjoy the arrival of the festive season along with the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel.
