CIBONE's 2026AW Furniture and Lighting Collection Colornation Opens in Omotesando

CIBONE in Omotesando will hold an interior exhibition titled "2026AW Furniture / Lighting Collection" from September 11 (Friday) through October 25 (Sunday).

This season's exhibition centers on the theme "Colornation," a term blending "color" -- as in color, coloring, and individuality -- with "nation," meaning a group or gathering. The exhibition period is split into two halves, each proposing a different everyday living scene.

During the first half, from September 11 (Friday) to September 30 (Wednesday), the focus turns to dining scenes at the heart of daily life. A wide selection of designer tables and chairs from Japan and abroad will be on display, offering a range of coordination ideas to help visitors find pieces suited to their own lifestyle and living space.

New Brands Join the Lineup

Alongside the exhibition, CIBONE will begin carrying two newly added brands: Studio Sander Wassink, a Netherlands-based design studio that reworks existing and reclaimed materials into new creations, and EETAL, a Japanese design project exploring new possibilities in sheet-metal processing. Beyond chairs, the lineup includes design-conscious products that add an accent to any room.

Studio Sander Wassink -- "V8.3 chair"

Priced from ¥110,000 (tax included), the V8.3 chair belongs to Studio Sander Wassink's modular V series, developed through ongoing research into balancing the benefits of mass production and regional production. The attempt lies in the possibility that design can respond to environments and values that change over time -- rather than presenting "one finished chair," the series shows "the mechanism by which a chair comes together," an open structure that keeps being reinterpreted as makers, materials, and environments change. The "V" in "V8.3" stands for "version," reflecting the series' ongoing, in-progress accumulation of trial and error.

EETAL -- "Waka Waka Cylinder Back Chair"

Priced at ¥198,000 (tax included), the Waka Waka Cylinder Back Chair reinterprets the wooden "Cylinder Back Chair" by Los Angeles design studio WAKA WAKA in a metallic finish. By reconstructing the wooden chair's form in aluminum, EETAL gives it an entirely new presence, pairing a voluminous cylindrical backrest with a slender, line-like frame for a sculptural silhouette.

EETAL -- "Ribbon Stool"

Priced at ¥74,800 (tax included), the Ribbon Stool is another collaboration with WAKA WAKA, built from folded geometric shapes into a light, linear structure. Though designed as a seat, it carries an object-like presence that adds a quiet accent to any room.

Whether visitors are furnishing a new dining space, searching for a chair to match an existing table, or simply looking to add another favorite piece, the exhibition offers furniture choices suited to a range of lifestyles and spaces.

In addition, for the duration of the exhibition, a 10% OFF fair will run on furniture and lighting priced at ¥55,000 (tax included) or more, with some items excluded.
