COCO VILLA Kofu Chiyoda-ko Goes on Sale in Yamanashi as a New COCO VILLA Owners Villa, With a Garage Turned Into a Private Lake-View Sauna

COCO VILLA Kofu Chiyoda-ko has gone on sale as a new property in COCO VILLA Owners, a small-lot villa investment program operated by COCOZAS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshihito Ando) that lets buyers own a share of a vacation villa starting in the low ¥2 million range. Sales began in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

At this property, a basement garage has been renovated into a private sauna space overlooking Lake Chiyoda. It is also designed with group stays in mind, with a BBQ area and a projector screen installed in the living room.

At an information session held on August 19, 2026, the first 8 available shares sold out the same day, and the property is now accepting waitlist registrations.

COCO VILLA's 52nd Property: Kofu Chiyoda-ko

COCO VILLA Kofu Chiyoda-ko is a new property on the shore of Lake Chiyoda, roughly midway between central Kofu and the scenic Shosenkyo gorge. The lake has long been popular among local anglers for crucian carp and largemouth bass fishing. The sauna, cold-water bath, and relaxation space, converted from the basement garage, look out over Lake Chiyoda, letting guests enjoy the space without worrying about weather or the gaze of others.

About COCO VILLA

COCO VILLA is a series of fully unmanned, whole-building rental accommodations that make the most of the character of each location — from the sea, mountains, lakes, and rivers to popular tourist areas. Some properties sit in quiet, nature-filled surroundings, while others offer lake or ocean views, or convenient access to sightseeing spots, each with its own distinct character. What every property shares is a space designed around its local environment and a private sauna. Guests can enjoy their stay at their own pace in a whole-building rental where no one else is around.

COCO VILLA currently operates multiple locations centered in the Kanto, Tokai, and Koshinetsu areas, and plans to continue expanding with villas suited to a variety of locations nationwide.

About COCO VILLA Owners

COCO VILLA Owners is a system that allows people to own a vacation villa at an accessible price while also earning income from it as an asset (patent pending).

How COCO VILLA Owners works

Owners can use the villa themselves for up to 120 nights a year (*1). On days they don't use it, the villa is operated as a rental, with the resulting income applied to running costs and any surplus distributed to the owners.

Stays are booked using COCO VILLA Owners' own "COCO VILLA Points," which can be used not only at the villa an owner holds a share in, but also at other COCO VILLA properties nationwide that they don't own.

Because owners hold actual ownership, they can also sell their share (*2), pass it on through inheritance, and benefit from tax savings through depreciation.

*1 The maximum number of nights all owners combined can stay at one property (up to 120 nights a year for properties operating under Japan's Hotel Business Act, or up to 180 nights a year for properties operating under the minpaku private-lodging law).

*2 There is a 2-year minimum holding period, after which the company handles resale on the owner's behalf.
