COCO VILLA Yoro Keikoku, a new addition to the COCO VILLA series of private-sauna villas operated by Cocozas Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshihito Ando), grand-opened in the Yoro Keikoku area of Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

A Riverside Villa Embraced by the Gorge
Yoro Keikoku is known as one of the Kanto region's finest gorges and a celebrated spot for autumn foliage. On its banks, a new villa made up of two single-story buildings has been built. Standing side by side on the same grounds, each building is available as an independent whole-building rental, with identical facilities and floor plans. For larger groups, both buildings can also be booked together.
The Yoro Valley Location
About 75 minutes by car from central Tokyo, the property sits at a comfortable distance from the city while being surrounded by abundant nature. Nearby scenic spots include Awamata Falls, and the area offers a variety of ways to spend time, from countryside drives to golf. Whether the day is spent sightseeing and enjoying activities or relaxing at the villa, guests can create their own kind of holiday, wrapped in the greenery along the riverbank.
A Stay to Enjoy Every Season in the Gorge
Architecture in Harmony with Nature, Designed by Gen Inoue
The design is the work of architect Gen Inoue, who has received numerous awards both in Japan and abroad. Every angle was considered to capture a beautiful view of the river, with large glass surfaces and high ceilings letting in abundant natural light. Indoors and outdoors flow together as one, creating a space that feels at one with the surrounding scenery. This meticulously designed building adds a distinctive touch to every stay.

A Relaxing Riverside Stay
The majestic Yoro River flows right in front of the villa, a rare location where guests can reach the riverbank in just a few steps. The open windows offer a sweeping view of the river from inside, letting guests watch it change from morning to night close at hand. Time passes slowly on a day spent by the water.
A Barrel Sauna for Unwinding in the Gorge
A barrel sauna overlooking the Yoro River's mountain stream is also part of the villa. Guests can settle into the heat of the Helo stove while gazing out the window at the scenery. The swaying of the trees and the sound of the water invite a deep sense of "totonou" — the refreshed, balanced state that follows a sauna session. After the sauna, guests can cool down in the cold bath and then relax on the deck for an outdoor air bath, as a cool breeze gently soothes the warmed skin. In the quiet surroundings, it's a special sauna experience that lets the senses fully unwind.

Evenings Lit by the Illuminated Far Bank
At night, the opposite riverbank is softly illuminated, transforming the scenery into a dreamlike atmosphere quite different from daytime. Looking up, guests can see stars shining in a clear night sky — a view made possible by the area's few streetlights. Guests can enjoy the villa's many different expressions across both day and night.
River Activities on the Water
With its gentle current, the Yoro River is also ideal for river activities. The villa provides SUP boards and kayaks, so guests can paddle out whenever the mood strikes. The view from the water offers a different perspective than the riverbank. Guests can enjoy time playing in the river together with family or friends.
