Tokyo's Kuhonbutsu-based bakery Comme'N is launching a Spring Collection to celebrate the arrival of cherry blossom season. March brings a renewed "Sakura Anpan" (cherry blossom red bean bun) from Comme'N TOKYO and Comme'N GLUTEN FREE, along with a new seasonal item, the "Strawberry Cream Cone." Then in April, picnic-ready pizzas and sandwiches join the lineup.

This year's version incorporates the dough from Comme'N's best-selling "Sakura and Sake" bread, yielding a crispy, fragrant crust and a chewy interior. The cherry blossom paste inside is made with simple, natural ingredients for a gentle sweetness. Shaped like cherry blossom petals, each bun makes for a visually charming spring treat.

Comme'N GLUTEN FREE also offers a gluten-free version made with rice flour. The amount of red bean paste has been adjusted for a better balance with the dough, resulting in a fluffy texture perfectly complemented by the rich cherry blossom aroma.
