Artist Profiles
Woodworker: Yuki Sakamoto
Born in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Sakamoto launched his workshop calm in 2012. He creates custom-made furniture using solid wood, as well as smaller items such as clocks and cutlery. His works feature gentle curves that make the most of natural materials, creating pieces that naturally soothe the heart.
Ceramic Artist: Sayaka Kimoto
Born in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Kimoto began her artistic career in Matsue in 2011. Her creations are characterized by their strength and bold design concepts, with a commanding presence. Each piece gains more character and attachment with continued use.
