From Wednesday, July 22 to Monday, July 27, Osaka Takashimaya hosts "Fresh! Fun! HAWAIʻI," a six-day event in Namba, Osaka. With rising prices and higher overseas travel costs making trips abroad harder to justify, this event offers an easy way to enjoy a resort mood without leaving Namba during summer vacation. The venue brings together tropical food, such as burgers made with Hawaiian taro and acai soft-serve, alongside a wide range of fashion, goods, and art. Hula dance shows, live music, and workshops round out the lineup, offering a chance to experience Hawaii's open, easygoing atmosphere through food and culture.
Around 30 shops will take part over the course of the event, 13 of which are food shops (including eat-in options).

Tomoki Suzuki — Ukulele Live

Active under the theme "pop, despite being ukulele," he has won awards in contests both in Japan and abroad. From gentle tones to aggressive playing that overturns typical images of the ukulele, his live performance delivers a one-of-a-kind sound.
BS12 Twellv "Falling in Love with Hawaii" Collaboration

A collaboration event with "Falling in Love with Hawaii," a program airing nationwide on free-to-air channel BS12 Twellv, will be held on Saturday, July 25. The "Hawakoi Special Stage," starting at 12:30 PM, will feature the program's MC Ryo Uchino and Kenjiro Yamashita of Sandaime J Soul Brothers. Guests will also take part in special performances and a talk show, among other events showcasing the appeal of Hawaii.
