DC Shoes, the California-based footwear and apparel brand, has released a sandal that does a double-take: the M4 SLIP. It's a slip-on sandal crafted entirely from EVA material, designed to look just like the brand's popular skate shoe, the MANTECA 4.
DC Shoes M4 SLIP
The M4 SLIP takes trompe l'oeil to the world of casual footwear. At first glance, it resembles a classic DC Shoes skate sneaker — complete with shoelace details and upper patterns modeled after the MANTECA 4. On closer inspection, it's a lightweight sandal made from a single injection-molded EVA construction.
Weighing in at approximately 155g per foot (L size), the sandal is remarkably light. The fully waterproof build also makes it suitable for use near water. Ventilation holes on the upper help with breathability, while a metal DC logo on the side adds a finishing accent.
