DEAN & DELUCA, operated by Welcome Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masanori Yokogawa), will launch chocolate drinks made with their specially blended "House Chocolate" at Market and Cafe locations starting January 15th, 2026. Additionally, a "Fondant Chocolat" dessert will be available for dine-in customers.

Aromatic and Enchanting Hot Chocolate

As the cold weather intensifies and chocolate becomes especially appealing, DEAN & DELUCA has prepared three hot chocolate drinks that carefully bring out the charm of chocolate, perfect for quality time with loved ones or moments of self-care. For Valentine's season 2026, these beverages are crafted to complement the season.

The new flavor "Hot Chocolate Pistachio & Kadaif" layers smooth hot chocolate with the richness of pistachio and the light texture of kadaif (ultrafine thread-like pastry made from wheat or corn flour baked in-store). The fragrant aroma of cacao and the flavor of nuts harmonize beautifully, allowing you to enjoy the lingering notes of chocolate until the last sip.

"Hot Chocolate Rose & Lychee" combines the elegant fragrance of rose with the fresh nuance of lychee. Built on a base of rich cacao, it offers a floral and light aftertaste. With a restrained sweetness, it's pleasant to enjoy even after meals.

"Hot Chocolate Double Choco" brings out the depth and richness of cacao. While intense in flavor, it finishes clean, allowing you to thoroughly savor the authentic taste and aftertaste of chocolate.

The hot chocolate drinks generously use House Chocolate specially blended for DEAN & DELUCA, crafted with cacao powder, milk, and beet sugar. The cacao powder is also an original creation by "MAISON CACAO," the same producer behind the House Chocolate. Its beautiful acidity, richness, and soft flavor with subdued bitterness integrate seamlessly with the House Chocolate, creating a smooth taste.

Furthermore, the three distinctive toppings bring out the nutty notes and fruity acidity hidden within the cacao, with each flavor elegantly highlighting the characteristics of the House Chocolate.
