Two new Detective Conan-themed slab gums are arriving in stores across Japan on April 21st, 2026. Lotte will release "Detective Conan Gum 〈Mystery Grape〉" and "Detective Conan Gum 〈Flash Lemon〉," featuring packaging inspired by the long-running anime series that has captivated audiences for over 30 years.

The Mystery Grape flavor offers a deep, mysterious taste with cassis (flavoring) as an accent, while Flash Lemon delivers a sharp citrus kick with extra acidity designed to evoke the keen intuition of Detective Conan. Both varieties highlight the full-bodied chewing texture distinctive to slab gum. The packaging features retro purple and yellow color schemes, with 10 different package designs and 20 different wrapper ("lettere") designs per variety – making them worth collecting.
