DIOR MAISON Unveils Enchanting Trompe-l'œil Collection

DIOR MAISON pays homage to the art of 18th-century trompe-l'œil through a collection of decorative ceramic objects. Inspired by Dior archives from 1975, the delicate plates feature walnuts, croissants, asparagus, and eggs rendered so realistically they create an enchanting illusion.

The egg, a symbol of rebirth, holds special significance as the motif Jonathan Anderson selected for the invitation to his first show for Dior, representing "a perfect metaphor for beginnings."

Further reimagining this unique tradition, new motifs created with exceptional craftsmanship enrich the creative concept, including pretzels, radishes, strawberries, and bananas. Among them are designs inspired by sweet confections, merging playful artistry with gastronomic delight.

Paying tribute to literature, one of these signature plates is adorned with a reproduction of the first edition of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

For Easter, hens and eggs in delicate hues appear like precious treasures.

This poetic collection breathes life into true works of art through exceptional craftsmanship.
