From October 16 (Fri) to November 8 (Sun), 2026, "ELLE DECOR DESIGN WALK 2026" will be held. ELLE DECOR is an international interior and design media published in 30 countries and regions around the world.
ELLE DECOR DESIGN WALK (commonly known as EDDW) fully launched in 2000 as a project for enjoying design while visiting shops and events in autumn, when design events and art festivals liven up regions across the country. In addition to displays of the latest works at participating shops, it features exhibitions, workshops, and talk shows by creators.
A tabloid specially edited by ELLE DECOR lists the participating shops and introduces events held across the country. It is distributed at participating shops and at bookstores nationwide, and can also be viewed in a digital edition. Over the 24 days, visitors can enjoy popular annual events as well as limited-time special exhibitions.
Digital Stamp Rally With Prizes
A digital stamp rally will be held again this year. Scanning the QR codes placed at participating shops and events with a smartphone earns stamps. In addition, depending on the amount spent at participating shops during the period, entries can be submitted for a lottery of 6 types of prizes. The stamp rally starts on October 16 (Fri).
Special Event: Visit the Office of Architect Sou Fujimoto
A special talk event will be held at the office of architect Sou Fujimoto. Participants will receive a book signed by Fujimoto, "地球の景色". Under the theme "Between Nature and Architecture," the talk looks at the trajectory of the design that has captivated people around the world, and offers a chance to experience the creative setting where many masterpieces were produced. Participation requires registration for "myELLE," the free membership service of ELLE Digital.

ELLE DECO International Design Awards (EDIDA) Nominees Announced
The ELLE DECO International Design Awards (EDIDA) is a design award organized by ELLE DECOR. Because the editors-in-chief of ELLE DECOR around the world vote to select the year's outstanding designs, it is also called the Academy Awards of the design world.
Each year during Milan Design Week, a grand prize is announced from among the designers and works nominated by each country's edition. This year, the best designs nominated by the Japanese edition are announced in the tabloid.
