An official pop-up store selling licensed merchandise for GREEN×EXPO 2027 (officially the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition) will open at Laforet Harajuku, a hub of Japanese pop culture, on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The store is being opened by the GREEN×EXPO Association and the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition Master License Office.
Unlike previous official pop-up stores, this new style of store aims to blend Harajuku culture, which keeps producing new trends, with the cute charm of Tunku Tunku (トゥンクトゥンク), the official mascot character of GREEN×EXPO 2027. The interior features a pop, original design that is distinctly Harajuku, offering a special experience that can only be enjoyed at this store.
An EXPO 2025 Official Pop-Up Store selling official licensed merchandise of Myaku-Myaku, the official character of the Osaka-Kansai Expo that remains popular even after the event's closing, will also run at the same time, so visitors can enjoy two EXPOs in Harajuku.
