UNDER R's Sendagaya (Tokyo) and Osaka stores will host the "A24 × UNDER R POP UP STORE" from Friday, July 10 through Friday, July 24, 2026. The pop-up is tied to the Japan release date of A24's new horror film "Bring Her Back," directed by Danny and Michael Philippou — the duo behind the hit horror film "Talk to Me" — which opens in Japan on July 10.
The event will offer an exclusive new apparel collection created by A24 and UNDER R, along with books and lifestyle goods that capture A24's distinctive aesthetic. Rare items not available elsewhere in Japan will also be on offer, including merchandise from the A24 Records bar. A triple-collaboration collection involving A24, UNDER R, and artists active both in Japan and internationally will also be part of the lineup.
The pop-up brings together the unsettling, immersive world of cinema with UNDER R's culture-driven sensibility. During the event period, the Sendagaya location will also feature a special ice cream stand from JOHN'S ICE CREAM TOKYO, a popular gelato shop from Nakameguro. Visitors can enjoy gelato made with milk from Sugiyama Farm in Shizuoka Prefecture, customized with cookies and sprinkles. A limited-design option created especially for UNDER R will also be available. The stand operates while supplies last each day.
About "Bring Her Back" (Opens July 10)
After losing their father, siblings Andy and blind Piper move in with their kind foster mother Laura, who shares her home with a non-verbal boy named Oliver. Andy feels uneasy about Laura's unusually intense affection, but tries to settle into this new life. Strange occurrences begin to unfold in the house, mysterious circular symbols appear around the property, and Oliver's presence looms over it all.
