The Season 12 Tokyo round of Formula E, the TDK Tokyo E-Prix, is scheduled for July 25 (Saturday) and 26 (Sunday) at the waterfront street circuit near Ariake and Tokyo Big Sight. Advance ticket lottery registration runs from April 11 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM to April 20 (Monday) at 11:59 PM via the e+ ticketing platform. Both Japan-based and international applicants are eligible.
Formula E is the world's first all-electric motorsport World Championship governed by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile), now in its 12th season for 2025-26. The Tokyo E-Prix debuted in 2024 and this year marks its third edition. At the 2025 Tokyo E-Prix, held as the event's first double-header, Nissan Formula E Team's Oliver Rowland won Race 9, achieving the first home-race victory for a Japanese team.
Contested as Rounds 14 and 15 of Season 12, the 2026 event will be held as a night race double-header on July 25-26, with GEN3 Evo electric racing cars battling through the Tokyo Bay waterfront street circuit against a backdrop of the city's nighttime skyline.
Beyond racing, the venue will offer music, food, games, and activities throughout the day, with full details to be announced at a later date.
