Starting July 23, 2026 (Thursday), a limited-time summer menu featuring Mt. Fuji natural water arrives at Amanesaryo, a Japanese-style café renovated from an old traditional house in Tokyo's Sendagi neighborhood. The menu is a joint creation between Amanesaryo and FRECIOUS, the home water delivery brand operated by Fujisan GX Holdings, Inc., using FRECIOUS natural water throughout.

In fiscal 2025, Japan's green tea exports reached a record high of ¥72.1 billion.*1 Rising health consciousness worldwide and a boom in Japanese cuisine have driven a sharp increase in overseas demand for green tea, matcha in particular, with export values climbing steadily over the long term.
Amid this green tea boom, FRECIOUS — known for its subtly sweet Mt. Fuji natural water — has teamed up with Amanesaryo, a café built around the concept of "a shelter from life's rain," known for its Japanese tea, carefully selected sweets, and home-style dishes. The idea behind the collaboration is simple: good water makes for better tea, offering a comfortable way to get through the summer heat. The menu features Shizuoka-grown "Tsuyuhikari" tea, cold-brewed slowly with FRECIOUS natural water, alongside two wagashi made generously with the same water, all served in Amanesaryo's calm, old-house atmosphere.
During the collaboration period, FRECIOUS's sister brand, the purification-type water server "every frecious," will also be installed in the café. In addition to the collaboration menu, visitors can try operating the water server and sample the water themselves.

Background of the Collaboration
As the summer heat sets in, FRECIOUS and Amanesaryo present a simple but indulgent way to enjoy the season: good water makes for better tea. FRECIOUS natural water is drawn from roughly 273 meters underground at the 1,000-meter elevation mark on Mt. Fuji, and is a soft water known for its subtle sweetness and smooth taste. Because this clean, impurity-free water brings out the full flavor of carefully selected tea leaves and the delicate notes of wagashi, the two brands decided to collaborate.
Limited-Time Menu
Tsuyuhikari Cold Tea Made with Natural Water
Made with Tsuyuhikari, a variety of Shizuoka-grown Honyama tea known for its especially strong sweetness and umami. The tea is cold-brewed slowly using FRECIOUS's subtly sweet natural water, with twice the usual amount of tea leaves. Extracting the tea slowly at a low temperature keeps bitterness in check, letting the natural water draw out the leaves' full sweetness and umami. The result is a clean, layered cup well suited to summer.

Chewy Warabimochi Made with Natural Water, Topped with Ginger-Scented Chilled Syrup
This handmade warabimochi has a springy, jiggly texture and a deliberately simple recipe designed to let the flavor of the natural water shine through. It's generously topped with a housemade chilled syrup — ginger syrup diluted with water — that adds a subtle spicy kick. The result, refined through trial and error to make the most of the natural water, is a juicy, indulgent treat perfect for summer. Scheduled to be available through September 28 (Monday).

Two-Layer Mizuyokan with Tangy-Sweet Green Plum Jelly and Ginger White Bean Paste
This mizuyokan makes the most of the natural water's smoothness in a cool-looking, two-layer presentation. A smooth, subtly ginger-scented white bean mizuyokan forms the base, topped with a translucent, tangy-sweet green plum jelly and ripe green plum jam. Enjoy the refreshing tartness of the green plum, brought out by the natural water, along with the clean finish the water leaves behind. Scheduled to be available through the end of August.

A Note from Amanesaryo Owner Hiromi Nasuno

"With Japanese tea, water quality determines the flavor. Cold-brewed with FRECIOUS's subtly sweet, smooth natural water, this tea turned out clean yet concentrated in sweetness and umami. Because the natural water itself tastes so good, we made sure the wagashi paired with it wouldn't compete with the tea — we focused on simple recipes that let the quality of the ingredients and the natural water shine through. We hope you'll take your time enjoying this delicate, refreshing pairing, brought out by the natural water, in our carefully considered space."
About Amanesaryo

Tucked away in a quiet alley between Sendagi and Nezu, Amanesaryo is a hidden Japanese-style café renovated from a small, former row house.
