FUFUTIETIE Art Figures Make Their Asakusa Debut in a Limited-Time Popup with Tokyo Rickshaw

FUFUTIETIE, an art figure brand that reinterprets Buddhist, mythological, and zodiac motifs from East Asian cultures through a contemporary lens, has opened a limited-time popup store in Asakusa — its first appearance in the area. The popup is taking place at Tokyo Rickshaw's Kaminarimon-dori branch and began on April 1, 2026.

The brand describes its work as giving tangible, everyday form to invisible values such as "prayer" and "wishes." FUFUTIETIE has built a following in cities including Shanghai, Taipei, and Bangkok, and has previously held popup events at Yokohama VIVRE, Osaka Sky Building, and the ongoing Kanazawa FORUS location.

Exploring Asakusa with Tokyo Rickshaw

As part of the Asakusa popup, FUFUTIETIE has partnered with Tokyo Rickshaw for a collaborative experience. Rickshaws wrapped in special FUFUTIETIE-themed designs are making their way through the streets of Asakusa, connecting the brand's world with the area's traditional atmosphere.

  • Collaboration happi coats — select rickshaw pullers wearing non-commercial collaboration coats featuring FUFUTIETIE's visual world
