A new hotel has opened in Asakusa for travelers looking for extra space and flexibility. CROSS Suites Tokyo Asakusa opened on July 3, marking the debut property of CROSS Suites, a new lifestyle apartment hotel brand from ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS. Located in a convenient spot for exploring both Asakusa and greater Tokyo, the hotel is designed to serve group trips and family travel where a larger number of guests are staying together.

The hotel is built around guests traveling in larger groups or staying for extended periods, with rooms designed for both comfort and functionality. Some room types include connecting rooms that can accommodate up to nine guests, making them well suited to family and group trips.
The hotel also features a lounge called "Hang Out @CROSS Suites," a space designed for casual interaction between guests and hotel staff. Beyond simply relaxing between sightseeing outings, it's a place where guests can gather and connect through conversation and shared activities, with table soccer, board games, and other content that can be enjoyed regardless of language or age. Through regular events, an active and friendly staff encourage natural connections among guests visiting from around the world. A public kitchen is also available, adding convenience for those staying for longer periods.
Under the theme "Play, Discover, Connect: Asakusa Neighbors Life," the hotel aims to offer guests from Japan and abroad a distinctly local experience rooted in the neighborhood.
Rooms Designed for Group Travel and Extended Stays (78 Rooms Total)
The 78 rooms emphasize comfort and functionality, accommodating stays with family or friends as well as longer-term visits. Depending on the room, amenities include a dining table, a worktop with sink, a microwave, and a washer-dryer, creating a space that feels comfortable to live in throughout the stay. Concept rooms inspired by Asakusa and Tokyo culture, including the "Asakusa Tatami Room" and the "Tokyo Goldfish Suite Room," turn the stay itself into a travel memory.

In-House Facilities to Support Any Stay
Beyond the lounge that brings guests and staff together, the hotel includes a fitness gym, laundry facilities, and self-service lockers, rounding out a setup suited to everything from Tokyo sightseeing to extended stays.
Art That Captures the Spirit of Tokyo and Asakusa
Wall art inspired by Tokyo and Asakusa is displayed throughout the hotel, letting guests take in the local culture and atmosphere of the neighborhood during their stay.
