A limited-period members-only lounge is set to open at Tea Lounge ISOLA in MOKU KYOTO, located in Kyoto's Shijo Muromachi, during the Gion Festival's Yoiyama period — July 14 to 16, 2026. The lounge is a collaboration between Credit Saison Co., Ltd. and MS-NEXT Co., Ltd., open exclusively to select premium cardholders.
Yoiyama is one of the most celebrated parts of the Gion Festival. The area around Shijo-dori transforms into a pedestrian zone lined with food stalls and festive vendors, while the towering yamaboko floats are illuminated with the warm glow of paper lanterns, creating an iconic Kyoto summer night. Guests at Tea Lounge ISOLA will be able to take in this atmosphere in a relaxed, air-conditioned setting.
Tea Lounge ISOLA
Tea Lounge ISOLA is situated on the second floor of MOKU KYOTO. The lounge features terrace seating with an open, unobstructed view of the surrounding streets — a prime location to watch the festival come to life during Yoiyama. The interior blends contemporary design with natural materials and calming tones, with both sofa and table seating arranged to offer a comfortable and unhurried experience.
MOKU KYOTO
MOKU KYOTO is a floor-rental accommodation facility in Shimogyo Ward, just a one-minute walk from Shijo Karasuma Station. The building sits within the historic townscape of Shijo Muromachi, blending into the area's traditional wooden architecture while offering a quiet respite from the bustling streets below. The facility also houses dining and other amenities on-site.
