The 32nd Grand Sumo Fujisawa Basho (第32回 大相撲藤沢場所), a regular spring event in Fujisawa, will be held as part of the 2027 spring tour at Fujisawa Akibadai Cultural Gymnasium (藤沢市秋葉台文化体育館) in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, on Saturday, April 17, 2027. General sale starts at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
A tournament among 16 top-ranked wrestlers is a Fujisawa Basho tradition. Yokozuna and ozeki, along with rapidly rising young wrestlers, will compete in powerful bouts that showcase their strength and technique.
The tour also offers many events unique to regional tours that are rarely seen on TV, including shokkiri (初っ切り), sumo jinku (相撲甚句), a hair-dressing demonstration (髪結実演), a yokozuna rope-tying demonstration (横綱の綱締実演), and taiko drumming (太鼓の打分け). Visitors are invited to come with family and friends and enjoy the appeal of sumo, Japan's national sport.

- 3:00 PM: Uchidashi (打ち出し), the scheduled end of the event
Okonomi performances such as shokkiri, jinku, taiko drumming, and rope-tying (綱締め) are also included. The content and times may change.

- Sales period: Sunday, November 8, 2026 to Friday, April 16, 2027. Sales end as soon as tickets sell out.
- General sale: Starts at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, through チケットペイ.

- Please register as a member on the site beforehand.
- Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event Policy
Visitors are asked to read and agree to all of the following before purchasing. If you do not agree, you cannot buy admission tickets or food and souvenir vouchers.
- Admission tickets and food and souvenir vouchers cannot be reissued, including in cases of loss or theft.
- If you do not have your admission ticket or bento and souvenir voucher on the day, you cannot enter the venue or exchange for a bento or souvenir.
- Admission tickets and food and souvenir vouchers are not refundable under any circumstances.
- After entering, please receive a wristband at the reception desk when your ticket is torn. You must wear the wristband inside the venue at all times. Visitors not wearing a wristband may be asked to leave, and in that case the ticket price cannot be refunded.
- There is no child pricing. Children aged 3 and over are charged the general price.
- Bringing in food, drinks, and dangerous items is strictly prohibited. Concession stands are available inside the building.
- For evacuation safety, floor chairs (座イス) and similar items are not allowed in the 1st-floor seats.
- Tickets are not sold to, and entry is not permitted for, persons connected with organized crime groups.
- Fujisawa Akibadai Cultural Gymnasium and the park grounds are entirely non-smoking.
- When leaving the gymnasium or the facility grounds, show the wristband you are wearing at the reception desk before exiting. When re-entering, your wristband will be checked at the reception desk before you are allowed back in.
- Visitors who leave without wearing a wristband cannot re-enter.
- You cannot move between the 1st and 2nd floors.
