A new compact powder is joining Guerlain's iconic Météorites series. The Météorites Compact — a multifunctional powder designed to create a pore-minimizing, translucent complexion — is set to launch from May 19, 2026 via the official online boutique, ahead of nationwide availability on June 1.
Météorites: A Makeup Icon Since 1987
Launched in 1987 from a bold concept — "one powder for everything you need in a powder" — Météorites has long been a hallmark of the Guerlain makeup lineup. Its distinctive silhouette and unique color harmony, combined with pearl radiance, have delivered a translucent, luminous glow to skin for nearly four decades.
The hand-crafted mother-of-pearl pearls are produced using a rare savoir-faire passed down by only four craftspeople in the world. Applied with the Météorites Brush (sold separately), the pearls blend together on skin, smoothing the complexion and creating a radiant, translucent finish. In 2024, the formula was relaunched with a lighter texture and 95% natural-origin ingredients (natural origin index 95%, including water, compliant with ISO 16128), with its color harmony rebuilt and signature fragrance delicately updated by Guerlain's in-house perfumer and Fragrance Creation Director, Delphine Jelk. The Rosas-patterned case was also refreshed into a design balancing tradition and modernity.

The new compact case reinterprets the iconic design codes of the 2024 Météorites Beige, retaining the signature Rosas pattern and gleaming gold case while introducing blue and orange accents for a more refined look. A Jewelry-Inspired Compact Case
The Météorites Compact case is a contemporary reinterpretation of the design language from the 2024 Météorites Beige. The Rosas pattern on the lid is set off by gold trim that catches the light, while vivid blue and reddish-orange accents recall the original Météorites cases from 1873 — an homage to Guerlain's design heritage, itself inspired by a jeweled powder compact once owned by Queen Marie Antoinette.
Designed for convenient portability, the case pairs well with the Météorites Brush (sold separately). Tracing the brush in circular motions across the four shades blends them into a naturally harmonious tone, building depth with each use.
