Sashimi All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant "Gyoko Shokudo Sanpo" Opens in Yokohama Tsurumi on April 23

Gyoko Shokudo Sanpo Tsurumi Nishiguchi is opening at JR Tsurumi Station's West Exit in Yokohama at 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2026. The chain, which has been featured on television, is known for its self-service sashimi all-you-can-eat format with over eight types of fresh sashimi sourced daily from around Japan.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Shinbashi Building, a one-minute walk from the West Exit of Tsurumi Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku and Tsurumi lines. With 50 seats including counter seating, it welcomes solo diners as well as groups.

The interior is designed to evoke the lively atmosphere of a fishing port and fish market.

Lunch: Buffet and Single-Item Options

During lunch hours (11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, last entry at 2:00 PM), guests can choose between the sashimi all-you-can-eat buffet or single-item orders. Single-item options include eight types of seafood donburi and three types of set meals, catering to those looking for an everyday meal as well as a special outing.

The menu also features buri no hera-zushi, a specialty of Otsuki-machi in Kochi Prefecture.

The 60-minute sashimi all-you-can-eat buffet is available at lunch. Pricing is based on a dynamic pricing model, with the base price starting from ¥3,630 for adults. A senior discount is available for guests aged 60 and over at ¥3,300 all day. As an opening promotion, the weekday price of ¥3,630 (tax included) will also apply on weekends and holidays throughout April.

Limited Bluefin Tuna

A highlight of the buffet is fresh farmed bluefin tuna (hon-maguro) sourced from Nagasaki and Kochi, offered in limited quantities. The fish is delivered fresh without freezing, allowing guests to enjoy its rich flavor as-is. This item sells out on some days, so early arrival is recommended.

The Chain's Expansion

The Gyoko Shokudo chain has been growing steadily. The Hadano store in Kanagawa, which opened on September 20, 2025, drew lines of over 100 people at noon on some days and has continued to attract queues of 30 or more on a regular basis even months after its opening.

The chain currently operates five locations, including two in Nagoya and one in Namba, Osaka. Following the Tsurumi opening, further locations are planned near Tama Center Station (Keio and Odakyu lines) in May and in Kobe Sannomiya in June.
