About Hakone Yusen DAICHAKAI

Hakone Yusen DAICHAKAI launched in December 2025 as a sightseeing cruise boat themed around Japanese tea culture, sailing the waters of Lake Ashi in Hakone. The vessel features a range of distinctive onboard spaces, including "Chashitsu Kinpu-an," a golden-toned tatami lounge inspired by a traditional Japanese tea room; "Chabatake Dandan," an open-air outdoor bench area evoking a tea field; and "Chashitsu Ryofu-an," a cozy area where passengers can enjoy views through round porthole windows.

A onboard tea shop called "Chaten" serves matcha-based drinks and sweets, making the cruise a full-scale "journey through tea" on the lake.

"Ayataka Cha-banashi" Keyword Rally — Win an Original Sticker

Throughout the collaboration, eight "Ayataka Cha-banashi" panels sharing stories from Ayataka's history are placed at different spots around the boat. Connecting the characters written on each panel to complete a keyword earns passengers an original "Ayataka Hitokuchi Hitoiki Tabi" × "Hakone Yusen DAICHAKAI" sticker.

After disembarking, participants should share the completed keyword with staff at the port window. Limited to one sticker per passenger per boarding.
