Hamamatsu City ranks first in Japan for annual gyoza purchase amount for two consecutive years, making it a city with exceptionally high gyoza consumption. For the first time in several years, a full-scale gyoza festival will be held featuring not only gyoza shops from Hamamatsu City but also famous and popular stores from across Japan.
The venue is Aoi Square, located on the east side of Hamamatsu Castle Park and on the north side of the City Hall main building, offering a view of Hamamatsu Castle. This easily accessible venue features the entire square designed in the shape of a large Aoi family crest. Over 30 stores, centered around gyoza shops from Hamamatsu City and across Japan, will gather at this large venue.
Visitors can enjoy freshly grilled regional gyoza from across Japan, famous popular gyoza, and unique specialty gyoza varieties.
