Hananomai Shuzo (花の舞酒造) is holding its annual "Sake Brewery Open House: New Sake Tasting" (酒蔵開放 新酒味見会) again this year. Besides the Hamamatsu venue, the Shizuoka venue offers a full-course dinner with all-you-can-drink new sake.
About the New Sake
The new sake served at the tastings is "Tokubetsu Junmai Shiboritate Nama Genshu" (特別純米しぼりたて生原酒), a freshly pressed, unpasteurized and undiluted special junmai sake with an alcohol content of 17.5%.
Hamamatsu Venue

- Admission: ¥1,000 (tax included), paid at the reception of Venue 1 or Venue 2 on the day
A wristband is handed out when the admission fee is paid, and sake is served only to those wearing a wristband.
Children and people who do not drink alcohol can enter for free. For them, additive-free, non-alcoholic amazake (あまさけ) made from koji is available while supplies last.
The sake served at the tasting is also sold at the on-site shop.
Free Tastings at Two Hananomai Shops
New sake tastings are also held on the same day at two Hananomai shops. "Tokubetsu Junmai Shiboritate Nama Genshu" can be tasted for free.

- Hananomai Shizuoka Parche store (花の舞静岡パルシェ店): Inside the Shokusaikan (食彩館) on the 1st floor of Parche (パルシェ) in the Shizuoka Station building, open 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
Shizuoka Venue
The Shizuoka venue offers a seated round-table full-course dinner, all-you-can-drink new sake, and a prize drawing. A souvenir of one bottle of the new sake "Tokubetsu Junmai Shiboritate" (特別純米しぼりたて, 720 ml) is included.
