From Wednesday, July 15 to Tuesday, July 21, the 1st floor Promotion Space 11 at Hankyu Umeda Main Store welcomes limited-time pop-up shops for KiwandaKiwanda and BABACHIC, marking the second week of the SUMMER STYLE JOURNEY event. The lineup includes wear with original coloring and textiles, sun-and-rain umbrellas, and colorful upcycled bags made from ocean plastic waste, bringing a touch of flair to summer style while supporting comfortable outings.
KiwandaKiwanda: Ocean-Themed Summer Accessories and Custom Embroidered T-Shirts
The brand creates a fresh sensibility through original prints and distinctive color combinations.
Sun-and-Rain Umbrella (60cm rib length) – ¥25,300 each
Each umbrella uses an original printed fabric finished with hand-dyeing (tenassen), a traditional technique in which artisans carefully print color by hand. The cool-touch acrylic handle also features an original design.
Shirt – ¥33,000 each
An open-collar shirt perfect for summer, made from smooth, soft-touch fabric finished with hand-dyeing. The design uses a scarf-inspired pattern that evokes a summer story.
Drawstring Bag (W33cm x H38cm, including frill) – ¥7,260 each
Featuring frill trim made from original hand-printed material, this bag is water-repellent, so it can be used with confidence on rainy days too.

BABACHIC: Colorful, Stylish Upcycled Bags Made from Ocean Plastic
These eco-friendly bags are made by upcycling plastic waste, such as fishing nets and ropes collected from ships, into recycled yarn. The designs, which blend a Spanish designer's sensibility with vivid Indian coloring, are well suited to long summer trips, events, and outings in nature. Lightweight and soft to use, the bags are also water- and stain-resistant and easy to care for.
The lineup ranges from a mini size ideal for daily use or as a sub-bag while traveling, to a catchy pouch handy for organizing small items, offering plenty of variety to brighten summer outings.
