About Hatoko no Yu

Hatoko no Yu is a hot spring facility where visitors can look out over the sea in front of it, feel the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. Large ships passing through the strait are also part of the view, so guests can take in the scenery and nature unique to Kaminoseki with all five senses.

Another attraction is the red-brown "Akayu" (red bath), pumped up from about 1,000 meters underground and rich in iron, manganese and minerals. The open-air bath in particular offers a sweeping view of the Kaminoseki Strait, a relaxing and open setting.
