Hayama Tanada Area to Open as Part of "Regional Hotel @ Miura Peninsula" Project

A new area centered around the terraced rice fields of Kamiyamaguchi in Hayama Town, Miura-gun, Kanagawa, is set to open as part of the "地域まるごとホテル @ 三浦半島" (Regional Hotel @ Miura Peninsula) project. The area offers accommodation, dining, and hands-on experience programs, with the aim of deepening visitors' connections to Hayama while helping to preserve terraced rice paddies that have continued for over 400 years.

Concept: Creating New Connections to Hayama

The Hayama Tanada Area operates under the concept of "葉山のわ" — forging new ties between visitors and the community. Through stays among the rice terraces, agricultural work, nature walks, and encounters with local residents, guests can experience the diverse charms of Hayama. By expanding the circle of people with a connection to the area, the project aims to carry forward the terraced rice fields of Kamiyamaguchi into the next 100 years.
