Suite Villa Calmwoods Motohakone (スイートヴィラ Calmwoods元箱根) opens on October 31, 2026 in Motohakone, Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture. The new villa is part of the expansion of Resol Stay (リソルステイ), a villa-sharing service run by Resol Fudosan Co., Ltd. of the Resol Group.
The villa is a whole-building rental set in the forest of the Oshiba villa district (大芝別荘地). Hakone Shrine is about 7 minutes away by car, and Owakudani is also within 20 minutes. Lalique Museum Hakone and the Hakone Open-Air Museum are nearby, making the villa a convenient base for sightseeing in Hakone.
Inside, the living room has a double-height open ceiling that extends up to the second floor, along with an open kitchen. There are three bedrooms, including a Japanese-style room, so families and friends can stay together in a group of up to 8. Outside, the villa has a garden and terrace surrounded by trees and a covered wood deck, where guests can enjoy the forest air. Guests can spend the daytime visiting sights, enjoy a BBQ on the wood deck in the evening, and spend the night talking in the quiet of the forest, gathered around the flames of the wood-burning stove in winter.
