Hayama Umino Hotel (Hayama-machi, Miura-gun, Kanagawa) has begun accepting reservations for a weekday-only day trip plan starting May 1, 2026. The plan offers guests the chance to enjoy a soak in "Horizon Onsen" — a panoramic artificial hot spring normally reserved for overnight guests — along with a meal at the hotel's restaurant. Two plan options are available depending on how you'd like to spend the afternoon.
Two Styles to Choose From
The day trip plans are designed to let visitors enjoy the hotel experience at their own pace.
1. Choice Lunch Set (with drink) + Hot Spring: ¥3,500 (tax included)
A lunch menu featuring locally sourced ingredients is available to enjoy alongside the hot spring experience.
2. Choice Dessert Set (with drink) + Hot Spring: ¥3,000 (tax included)
For those who prefer a lighter stay, options include shaved ice and acai bowls — refreshing treats to savor while gazing out at the sea.
Optional Upgrades
Menu upgrades are available at an additional charge for those who want a little extra:
- Lunch: "Umi Burger" or "Tartar Chicken Plate" — +¥500
- Dessert: Carefully crafted "Matcha Shaved Ice" — +¥300
- Drinks: Draft beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverages — +¥300
Horizon Onsen: A Panoramic View of the Sea
The highlight of the plan is "Horizon Onsen," the hotel's rooftop-floor hot spring normally accessible only to overnight guests. The bath uses "Komyo-seki Onsen" (an artificial mineral hot spring) made with rare minerals found in nature, offering a gentle warmth said to soothe tired bodies from the inside out. With an unobstructed view where the sea and sky seem to blur together, it's easy to forget you're on a day trip.
Rental towels are included, so guests can arrive empty-handed.
