Heijoen Yakiniku Announces Pre-Orders for Premium Wagyu Yakiniku Ehomaki

Yakiniku Heijoen has announced the start of pre-orders for its special "Wagyu Yakiniku Ehomaki" (lucky sushi roll). The restaurant chain, which has been purchasing whole wagyu cows from producers across Japan for decades, is offering this premium product at special prices made possible through their unique whole-cow purchasing system.

Pre-orders for the Heijoen special "Wagyu Yakiniku Ehomaki" are accepted until January 31, 2026 (Saturday).

About the Wagyu Yakiniku Ehomaki

The "Wagyu Yakiniku Ehomaki" is generously filled with carefully selected wagyu beef. To make it enjoyable for children as well, the roll features mayonnaise and a subtly sweet gochujang (Korean chili paste) as hidden flavors, creating a gentle yet complex taste profile.

Each roll is handmade at individual store locations using the finest wagyu beef. This product is offered at a special price that is only achievable through Heijoen's whole-cow purchasing approach.

The restaurant chain continues to deliver "unwavering Heijoen quality" to more customers through products and store operations that allow people to enjoy the deliciousness of wagyu beef beyond traditional yakiniku dining.

About Yakiniku Heijoen

Celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2025, Heijoen began in 1970 when its founder, who had been running a Japanese restaurant, was impressed by the deliciousness of wagyu kalbi and opened a yakiniku restaurant. While Korean-style yakiniku restaurants were predominant at the time, Heijoen established a style of yakiniku restaurant with Japanese chefs catering to Japanese tastes, a pride they maintain to this day.

Their greatest commitment is purchasing whole black wagyu cattle from famous production areas nationwide and managing trimming, aging, and distribution in-house at their own processing facility before serving to customers. With expertise in sourcing, processing skills, and their own delivery system to all group restaurants, they provide not only deliciousness but also safety and security.

Currently, the Heijoen group operates 36 stores in the metropolitan area and 1 overseas location across four categories: yakiniku, steak, shabu-shabu, and hamburgers.
