Hotel Granvia Wakayama (located in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture; President and CEO: Masao Takeda) will hold its Craft Draft Beer Festival for the 10th time on October 2, 2026, in the hotel's banquet hall. Held to consistent popularity each time, the festival reaches a milestone edition this round.
This time, the beer journey moves further east from the previous edition's tour of areas connected to JR West Hotels, taking on the theme "Wakayama / Chubu-Tokai Craft Beer Tour." Eight breweries gather in the hotel's banquet hall, from local Wakayama to Mie, Aichi, Gifu, Nagano, Shizuoka, and Yamanashi.
Guests can sample craft draft beers shaped by each region's climate, water, and brewers' craftsmanship, for an experience reminiscent of traveling across Japan. On a long autumn evening, the festival invites guests to enjoy a beer journey for the senses, paired with dishes devised by the hotel's chef.
Heading East From the Previous "Kansai" Edition: A Beer Journey the Length of Japan
Following the previous edition's breweries tied to JR West Hotels' locations, this round expands the journey's stage to the Chubu-Tokai region. Tasting beers that each region takes pride in lets guests savor the excitement of traveling across Japan without leaving Wakayama.
